Pre-Flight

Hey guys, just a head's up, this one's gonna be a quite a bit shorter than the last one was. So I've got about 16 hours before my plane takes off which means I should probably be asleep by now; that's going really well. I've got everything packed up (as far as I know) and ready for the flight. Now I've just got to hope that my scale and the scale at the airport are on the same frequency so I won't have to pay extra for my luggage.

My week will play out as follows:
-Flight tomorrow (or today, however you look at it) at 4:45 pm from DFW to London
-Free day Thursday to do as I please in England
-Thursday night: meet everyone on the program with me
-Sight seeing all day Friday
-France on Saturday

Surprisingly, I'm not all that excited yet; I think that'll change as soon as the plane lifts off though haha. I think I'll leave it at that for now. I'll post an update later in the week with more pictures.

Oh! And leave me some comments if you have any suggestions on what to visit in London; I'm all ears.

First Attempt

So, the last time I blogged was in the ninth grade for my English class... Needless to say, this will be a first all over again for me. Give me some time to figure it out and maybe after a while there will actually be something worth reading. Thanks!


So right now the days are just kind of dragging on, with a mere seven left before we leave. I'm a little nervous since I'm the only one going from Texas Tech; but then, this isn't the first time I've been abroad alone either. Our program leader sent me the roster for the trip a few weeks back, which has been nice. It's given me a bit of time to get to know some of the people that will be accompanying me via Facebook. So all-in-all, the semester so far is going great; I can't get enough of this seemingly never-ending break. Now I just have to worry about packing.. which surely can't take more than 30 minutes (hopefully). I think that's it for now so I'll post an update later in the week.
